Charleton Fruit Farm has been a favourite with Montrose locals and visitors for many years and it’s easy to see why.
Charleton Farm has a massive playground for the kids, including trampolines, half a dozen little houses, climbing frames and a big castle. They’ll spend ages running around, and you can sit nearby and enjoy your coffee while keeping an eye on them.
I love a good mochaccino and Charleton Fruit Farm makes a delicious one.
You can buy their own coffee blend in the farm shop too!
Charleton Fruit Farm Produce
The menu is packed full of delicious options using produce that they grow on the farm. You can go along and pick your own berries in the summer, or buy some freshly picked fruit and veg from the farm shop.
Charleton Farm Shop
The farm shop sells a variety of food, such as eggs, meat pies, and of course Charleton’s signature strawberry tarts. They also have kids toys, Scottish gifts, ladies jewellery and homeware.
I drank my mocha while walking around with my friend, I say that but we were in fact chasing after her toddler who was wanting to play on everything! I bought some sweet treats to take home to Barry, a Twix rocky road slice and a strawberry tart. Unfortunately for Barry, the strawberry tart was a little melted by the time it got to him. He assured me it still tasted amazing though!
Charleton Farm is one of my favourite places in Montrose to go for lunch or a cuppy. The new owners are really active on Facebook*, letting everyone know what they are up to. You can find them on the north side of Montrose – Charleton Fruit Farm, Montrose DD10 9EW.
*Not an affiliate link, I just love finding good places for a cuppy.
